Every year since we've been in Georgia we've missed a local fesitval called the Big Shanty festival. It is in downtown Kennesaw and named for the original town name. This year we were here and I promised Will we would go. We started the morning by participating in a garage sale down at a neighbor's house. After Michael was done with tennis we went to the fest. It was short lived because it was very crowded and very hot. We met the DeFuscos there and decided to head to the park. We finished the day by having mexican with a group of friends. We all had a blast!
My neighbor and friend, Mrs. Carol has a son who is an awesome soccer player. We got one of Matt's soccer balls out to keep the kids entertained during the garage sale.
Socks was keeping Maren company and sniffing out her goldfish.

I promised Will I would take him to the fest next year first thing in the morning. I told him it would be just he and I and he could go on all the sides and jumpys. With this kid's memory I know he'll hold me to it!
