One of the things Mom and I wanted to do was to take pictures on the beach with everyone. I was hoping for a Christmas card shot, but knew that was unlikely with a wiggly toddler! Michael and Pat were just hoping they didn't see anyone they knew since we were all dressed alike. Mom tried to assure them that one day they would appreciate the pictures! I think they came out pretty good.
We also celebrated my step sister Aimee's upcoming birthday. Mom made the mistake of telling William about the "surprise" birthday cake we bought her. Needless to say, the surprise was short lived. Right after dinner William started asking about the cake. We lit the candle and carried the cake to where Aimee was sitting. William was so excited. He kept saying, "I have a birthday cake for you Aimee." He had to help carry it and of course blow out the candles before we finished singing. I can't help it-- he is just adorable!

I love the picture. It's a nice shot. I really like the one of the three of you. Too cute! I know, we did the whole dress alike thing - and prayed that we would not run into anyone we knew!
I've got the one on the beach with the three of you as my screensaver at work. EVERYONE comments on what a great looking family you all are and, of course, I agree wholeheartedly!
