Another Sunday at Home

We had a great day at home today. Ron & Rona brought Gracie over so they could see a movie together. Genevieve came over to visit and of course we baked. The kids had a great time!

Mae was pooped!

This was after her nap. I was trying to buy some time because I knew she'd want to go outside with the big kids.
It was cool outside today, but not unbearable. Michael set up the space walk for William and Gracie. They had a blast! Except for the tattling on each other they did every few minutes. They are like brother and sister!

Maren was so excited to get in with Will & Gracie!

The air was so dry outside that all three kids had so much static electricity in their hair. It was standing up on end!

Gracie was so sweet with Maren.

Another rare moment when they liked each other.

The stairs have become one of our biggest fights with Maren. Someitmes she just likes to sit at the bottom and hang out. This was the stance I got today! She didn't want to go up, but she definitely didn't want to get off the stairs.

The goofballs cleaning up!
Michael made King Cakes today. His boss has been asking for one so he whipped up a Fall King Cake. We just changed the color scheme. We made another for us at home and it is Yummy!

Just a few...

Here are a few shots from our Saturday...

I am so proud of my neighbors!!

This was my first load of food items that my clients and neighbors donated for Cobb County's Thanks for Giving food drive.

We were excited to bring the kiddos with us to drop of the food. We wanted Will to understand how it came full circle. He got out and helped us unload. One of the volunteers made a big fuss over him and named him an "official volunteer". He was so happy!
Our little LSU babies!

We sent William into his play room to pick up and this is how he came out. All dressed in his goggles and wellies!
She looks happy doesn't she?! This is what happens when naptime ends too soon.

Time for School Pictures

Last week the kids had pictures with Santa. I tried to snap a picture of them before school but I didn't have much luck! I went and helped with the pictures. Ihid behind the backdrop when it was their turn so they didn't see me. Maren wanted nothing to do with Santa! I'll be sure to post the picture when I get it.

I'm loving the girl stuff! Tights and barrettes!

How much do they hold?

I bought the reusable grocery bags at Publix and we decided to put them to the test. Maren was dragging one around the house and tried to get in it. Once we put Maren in a bag of course William was right behind!

Thanksgiving at Primrose

Michael and I were able to have a Thanksgiving feast with William at school last week. We had a great time visiting with he and his friends. They all made their headbands and named themselves. William was Chief Outer Space Alien!

Will was so excited to have Michael there!

Just chillin!

Here are some pictures of William's classroom.

William & Mrs. Thomas
(She's from Gentilly!)

We stopped by Maren's class to see how she was doing. She was passed out!
We didn't want her to see us because we knew she'd have a hard time seeing us and having us leave.

Sunday at the Lipanis

After being outside at the Fall Fest on Saturday we were all looking forward to hanging out and staying warm inside on Sunday. Here is a glimpse into our crazy house!

William and Michael ran to the grocery early to stock up. He promised William he would make him a Chocolate Gallette. It turned into quite an ordeal. Who can go wrong with crepes and chocolate! Ours looked close to this!
Will is always ready to help.

Ok, so I know this isn't the best picture of Mae, but it's because she is in constant motion. She decided to pull out as many wipes as possible.
As soon as I start to fuss she runs to the box of wipes and tries to stuff them back in as fast as possible.
I am really enjoying all the girlie things of having a baby girl! Maren's hair is pretty curly in the back so the other day I tried to put in pig tails and a pony tail.
She was on board at first!
Look how cute! It would have worked better had I used baby pony tail holders.
Now she's aggrivated at the fuss I'm making over her cute hair. Maybe they were a little uncomfortable too?

After she pulled one out I tried for the single pony tail.

Maren's teacher told us how much she loved feeding herself spaghetti at school last week. Michael made meatballs and pasta so we let her dig in! Doesn't every child have a picture like this?

Such cuties!

Fall Fest

We have a pretty big neighborhood. There are about 450 homes. We have a very active home owners association and social committee. I try to vounteer for events as many events as I can. Last weekend we had our Fall Fest. There were plenty of events planned but the threatening weather altered some of the acitivites. Karen and I decided to take advantage of the Fall Fest and host a food drive for Cobb County's Department of Family Resources. We used the huge popcorn machine that Karen has and manned the popcorn booth as well as helped stuff cotton candy into bags. We had a drop off station for our food drive and had an awesome turn out! We were a little chilly to say the least but we had a good time. Michael brought the kids out a few hours into it and was none too thrilled to have left the warm house. He was a trooper!

This is our clubhouse. We were supposed to have all of the activites spread around the green space, but we had to move it closer to the clubhouse.

This our popcorn and cotton candy stand. As you can see the sky was gray all day and the wind whipped like crazy! Thank goodness I grabbed the tent out of the garage at the last minute!

This is Doris, the cotton candy machine novice! She was so great! She had cotton candy all over her face and in her hair. It wasn't bad enough that it was her first time to try it, but the wind made it even more difficult. To top it off Doris is new to the neighborhood. She bought the house that Karen and I sold. It was her fist time volunteering!

He looks thrilled doesn't he! This was while William was starting his temper tantrum! The tantrum continued for a while...it was one of those "proud" Mommy moments. Michael ended up leaving with Mae while Will and I had a fun time together-- after the tears!

Pie Eating Contest

The line for face painting had been so long all afternoon. At the very end we were able to jump in and get Will's face painted. It was a much needed pick me up!
Oh-- my love! I know he won't look at me like this forever!

I snapped this picture right before we left. I thought it was a great shot of the neighborhood. This is part of our lake and green space and you can also see the basketball courts. I have been meaning to take pictures of all the beautiful trees. You can see some the shades in this picture.
