We headed to New Orleans for Thanksgiving for some much needed family time. We had a great visit with everyone! I still have more pictures to paste because evidently I was having so much fun with my Dad and Stepmom that I didn't snap any pics!
Our drive in was a long and stressful one since Maren is not the greatest car traveler! We were so happy to arrive and get settled. The next day I packed the kids back up and went to the Northshore to visit my Mom, Stepdad and Granny. We decided to visit at my Aunt Cindy and Uncle Rick's house so the kids could see their horses. It was a huge success!

My cousin, Katie was so wonderful with the kids. The horses belong to she and and my Aunt. She let Will pet them and feed them. He loved it!

Look at how comfortable he got with feeding them!

Me & Katie

While visiting with my Mom and Granny we exchanged Christmas gifts and took a 4 generation photo. This is something my grandmother had wanted to do since Maren was born so it was a great chance to spend time with her and take our picture.

Believe it or not we did get a good one and I think it's on my Mom's camera. We turned it to black and white, blew it up and printed it on a canvas for my Granny and she was just tickled!

Maren didn't mind the attention one bit!

Can you tell Maren was excited about Granny's present?

She loves Baby Millie!

My grandmother is an artist so Maren loved having Granny draw over and over again.

Will got this cool erector set and he and Poppy put it together. He was very proud of his work.

Before we left Will wanted to go out and spend more time with the horses.

"Cheese Mom!"

Michael and I were able to sneek out and spend sometime downtown. It was the night before the
Miracle on Fulton Street opened so we took a quick stroll.

Self portrait-- we're getting better at this!
Thanksgiving Day was really exciting for us. It was the first time we were going to all be together--Michael and his sisters, their spouses and children. All 6 adults and all 6 kids with Nana and Pop.

Will saying the Blessing

Our meal was a very special one because everything served was safe for my niece, Sarah. She has numerous food allergies so Nana made sure she could have everything in the house.

While we finished eating the big kids did some Thanksgiving coloring sheets.

My sweet nephew Zachary. He is VERY attached to Melinda right now so the fact that he is letting Michael this close to him is amazing! Michael had the magic touch that day.

Zachary and Ryan
These two are only 4 months apart and so cute together!

Ryan was cracking himself up with this balloon!

Ok, so Michael's magic wore off for a bit.

Jim, Tara and Ryan

Clearly I didn't have the magic either. This was only for a brief moment while Nana took the picture below.

Melinda, Michael and Tara

Millard, Keith and Brian

These two will be double trouble once they can get around a bit quicker!

We exchanged Christmas gifts amongst the kids while we were in town. It was so nice to see everyone open their goodies.

We gave the girls this adorable butterfly wings that turned out to be a big hit. Ryan was getting curious with Maren's wings.

Girl Power!
Aunt Tara also gave Mae & Sarah Princess nightgowns and as you can see they had to go on immediately!

Triple the Trouble!

Who me?

Here are the attempts to get pictures of all 6 cousins together!
The funny thing is that I was in the kitchen cleaning dishes while this was going on so I was quietly chuckling to myself listening to the chaos in the next room.

Constant motion!

As close as we can get!

All Done!

This laugh/smile = up to no good!
By the look on Dad's face she just said or did something that I would probably fuss about!

I snapped this the day after Thanksgiving when we were visiting with Tara and Melinda and the kids. Ryan is just adorable and he his toddling around everywhere!
After spending time at Tara's we went Uptown to see my brother and Meredith. Of course we had to go to
Sucre and get some sweets!

Don't let this picture fool you! Maren fell asleep on the way there and stayed out when we got to Sucre. William was messing with her until I pulled the camera out and he posed so nice and sweet!

Will & Uncle Mike

Maren- awake and inspecting her goodies!

Now, this is my kind of treat!

I LOVED the window displays. The Christmas trees were make of my absolute favorite--
macaroons!

The football helmets were adorbale. Check on the letter to Santa!
As usual we went to the LSU/Arkansas game. We had pretty good weather and a nail biter of a game!

I know I look like a fool, but I took this pic for Will. This was his same treat when he came with Michael to the LSU/Florida game.

Another self portrait!

This was the last home game of the season and Senior night. They had fireworks and special uniforms. Someone sitting next to us joked that they did the fireworks so no one could hear the "Boos" when Les Miles ran in the stadium after our Ole Miss loss!

The Golden Girls did throw back uniforms too.

I was trying to get a pic of the guys uniforms. They were all white and the gold helmets. The bottom of their shoes were shiney gold too-- kind of cool.
